Benny Cornelissen

My name is Benny Cornelissen, but most people just call me Ben. I'm 37 years old, and live in a small town in the Betuwe area together with my girlfriend. I've been working at Skyworkz as a Cloud Consultant since 2019, and in that capacity I help clients in successfully leveraging cloudtechnology. I do that either as an advisor or by filling architect or techlead roles on an ad-interim basis.

Before that I have designed, built and run infrastructure, platform, and software delivery solutions for many differentcompanies varying from small startups to mid-size software companies to large enterprises. I've put data centers in shipping containers in the desert, builthot-swappable container platforms and helped a large shipping companyre-invent how they delivered software by increasing their release cadence from twice a year to hundreds of times a week. I firmly believe the best way to achieve ambitious goals is to endlessly make things simpler and think outside the box. Instead of trying to fix a problem, focus on not having the problem in the first place. 

Outside of work you can find me riding bikes, learning about bike fitting or playing guitar.
